Meet the Veterinarians

  • Dr.
    Mary Stankovics

    Mary Stankovics, D.V.M. graduated from Ross University where she received her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine in 1989. She started her career in general and emergency medicine. In 1993 she became the second full time veterinarian for The Seeing Eye, where she developed her skills in the areas of: ophthalmology, gastroenterology, neonatology and canine reproduction. In 2004, Dr. Mary started her own business, Pleasant Valley Veterinary Services, LLC. She has a special interest in the study of theriogenology and neonatology.

    Dr. Mary is a member in good standing of:

    • The Society for Theriogenology
    • American Veterinary Medical Association
    • New Jersey Veterinary Medical Association
    • The Metropolitan Veterinary Medical Association

    Dr. Mary is an active member of the community:

    • Member of Vernon C. Oaks Society (Washington Rescue Squad)

    Dr. Mary shares her home with multiple cats and her two Golden Retrievers, Jelly and Jet. Dr. Mary actively participates in competitive dog sports with both of her Goldens. She and her canine partners have earned numerous titles in agility, obedience, field and NoseWork. Dr. Mary also enjoys canoeing and photography.

    Liv Wallin
    DVM

    Dr. Wallin grew up in New Jersey and attended Cook College at Rutgers University where she received her Bachelor's degree in Animal Science.  She attended veterinary school at the University of Florida where she received her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 2004.  Dr. Wallin continued on to an internship at Florida Veterinary Specialists in Tampa (now Blue Pearl).  She has worked in general practice as well as in emergency medicine.  Dr. Wallin also had the wonderful opportunity to work for a year and a half in beautiful New Zealand.

    In her free time, Dr. Wallin enjoys traveling, hiking, horseback riding, snowboarding and relaxing at home with her family including her French Bulldog, Charlie and her kitty, Isabella.  She is very excited to work with the kind and caring staff of Pleasant Valley Veterinary Services!

    Linda Dziedzic
    DVM, MS

    Dr. Linda Dziedzic has been a relief veterinarian for Pleasant Valley Veterinary Services since 2015.  She is a New Jersey native who graduated with her veterinary degree from Ohio State University in 2009.  Following graduation, Dr. Linda completed a year-long, rotating, small animal medicine and surgical internship at Garden State Veterinary Specialists in Tinton Falls, NJ.  She then started her own business providing veterinary relief services for general practice and emergency animal hospitals across New Jersey.  As a former neuroscience researcher and public high school teacher, Dr. Linda has a passion for client education and the human-animal bond.  Linda lives in Whiting, NJ with her two beautiful, young children, and a whole bunch of dogs, cats and fish.  In her spare time, she enjoys gardening, home remodeling, SCUBA diving, skiing and Island Beach State Park.
